The executive committee has appointed prof. Dr. Ir. A.W.M. Smeulders (University of Amsterdam) as scientific director of the corporation and of the project MultimediaN. Arnold Smeulders is responsible for execution of the project and is the main disseminator of the MultimediaN objectives on behalf of the consortium.
Mr. Smeulders has extended the management with deputy director prof. dr. M. Kersten (CWI, Amsterdam) and managing director drs. J.A.A. Vos (University of Amsterdam). Martin Kersten is deputy scientific director and first contact person for knowledge-dissemination and communication. Johan Vos handles the financial management of MultimediaN.
