MultimediaN is one of the consortia within the Dutch Bsik-program. Several Bsik- consortia are working on knowledge-development and -absorption in the ICT area, under the authority of the national government. By investing in ICT, the national government aims to stimulate the knowledge economy in to make sure the Netherlands stays one of the leaders in the area of high-quality science and technology (=knowledge).
